Meet Our Medical Practitioner

Jaymi McKay, FNP, LM

Jaymi McKay FNP, LM is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Midwife.  As a primary care provider, she endeavors to focus on prevention and wellness over disease management.  She views FIT Medical Weight Loss as a perfect way to help patients with the root cause of many illnesses –overweight.  She knows that helping people achieve a healthy weight can prevent or reverse some chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes. 

She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 1996 and herMaster’s in Nursing in 2012, both from the University of New Mexico.  She has been working for FIT since 2014 after successfully utilizing the program herself. She also works in Women’s Health and has a sweet home birth practice in Albuquerque.  In her “free” time she enjoys reading, traveling, quilting and hanging out by the Rio Grande with her grand babies.
