Dr. Michael S. Hopkins, M.D.
Michael S. Hopkins, M.D is board certified in Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has been in practice in Albuquerque since 1997. He is currently the director of the Plastic Surgery Center, P.C. and is the Medical Director for the FIT Medical Weight Loss.

Dr. Hopkins was raised in New Jersey, earning his undergraduate degree with high honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick and his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the esteemed Yale University Medical School and his residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he also completed a Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship.
Dr. Hopkins takes pride in his work and is a true perfectionist, yet he is also a warm, compassionate practitioner, who takes time to alleviate patients' anxieties by fully explaining surgical procedures and recovery. Since coming to Albuquerque in 1997, he has earned the respect of his colleagues and patients for his surgical expertise.
