Patients at our FIT Medical Weight Loss Centers located in ARIZONA - Mesa, Phoenix, and Scottsdale - 602-374-7226 - NEW MEXICO - Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Santa Fe - 505-888-9575, share similar concerns with our staff. We endeavor to answer some of them here.
What is the "medical" component of medically supervised weight loss?
At FIT Medical Weight Loss, we want to make sure you lose your weight in a healthy manner. Your individual weight loss protocol will be monitored by a licensed physician/nurse practitioner/physicians assistant to ensure you take in the right amount of vitamins and minerals and that your weight loss is on target with your individual plan. Before we recommend treatment for any client, our physicians make sure no contraindications exist with our medications and those you are currently taking.
Do you have a kids program?
We work with kids as young as 18!
Will I be ravenous during this program?
You shouldn't be. The herbal and FDA-approved appetite suppressant should assist in that, and when you eat, you'll be encouraged to take in high protein, vegetables and fruit to help you feel full.
Who is your "ideal client"?
One who is 18 or above and is ready to make a significant change in his/her life. There is no magic bullet when it comes to weight loss. However, with the help of weight loss doctors and a commitment to success, you can make it happen.
How do I know that the appetite suppressant FIT Medical Weight Loss recommends is safe?
Unlike some weight loss centers that hand you a shake and say 'good luck,' we include an herbal or FDA-approved appetite suppressant that has been used successfully for 50 years. Optional vitamin B-6 with lipotropic fat burner injections are available as well.
Why can't I just lose weight on my own?
You can. However, many people experience a lifetime of yo-yo dieting, which weakens the metabolism and can make it more difficult to lose weight permanently. We believe ours is one of the best healthy weight loss programs available today due to its coupling of medical intervention and practical advice. FIT patients are encouraged to begin an exercise routine and to maintain it for life. This isn't a one-stop fix, but through our help, even people who had resigned themselves to the life of the large waistband find hope—and results.
