Losing Weight Doesn’t Have to be Painful

It’s true that losing weight may not be easy, but it is definitely not impossible. It is also true that most people successfully and safely lose weight without experiencing any pain whatsoever. To start, all you have to do is choose to make some simple lifestyle changes involving your diet and activity levels. Once you start making better choices then you are well on your way to painless and effective weight loss.

Here are 3 tips for pain-free weight loss.

1) Think of dieting as adding foods, rather than subtracting them

When you choose to lose weight through low-carb dieting, you may actually end up eating more food than before starting your diet plan. 

For example, there are many delicious and healthy vegetables you can eat which are called “free” foods. This is because they are low-carb and they also have zero or very few calories.

2) Ban the word “exercise” from your vocabulary if you need to

Instead, find calorie-burning activities you enjoy and can stick with. This way you can still burn calories and lose weight without thinking of it as a workout.

You may also consider taking walks outside when the weather is nice. Walks are super-easy and fun ways to “exercise” and get fresh air.

3) Stay hydrated

Having enough water and/or sugar-free beverages to drink every day is essential for healthy weight loss. 

As well, drinking a glass of water before meals also helps curb your appetite.
