Here are five great ways to strengthen your immune system.

  • Drink in moderation. We may be more tempted to have that extra drink while locked in at home. However, drinking too much wears you down and hurts your body. As with any other situation, it's best to drink responsibly.
  • Wash your hands frequently. Wash your hands whenever you have an opportunity to. After using the bathroom and before and after meals have always been standard. Washing every time you return home or interact in society is a good idea as well.
  • Take vitamins and probiotics. This is an easy one. Vitamins and probiotics help you stay healthy in so many different ways. Be sure to take one of each daily.
  • Avoid stressful situations. Did you know that mental stress actually weakens our physical immune system? It's true! Be sure to avoid stressful situations when possible and seek counseling if dealing with stress is an ongoing battle in your life.
  • Don't stretch yourself too thin. Staying well-rested goes hand-in-hand with staying healthy. Be sure to be your best self every day so that your body can stay on top of these things as well.
