Will the FIT weight loss program work for me?

We believe that our weight loss program is one of the best healthy weight loss programs available today due to the coupling of medical intervention and practical advice. FIT patients are encouraged to begin an exercise routine and to maintain it for life. With your desire to lose weight, and our support, you will find the results if you are willing to commit to the program 100%.

Is the appetite suppressant safe?

Unlike some weight loss centers that use shakes as part of their weight loss program, we include an herbal or FDA-approved appetite suppressant that has been used successfully for 50 years.

Do I need to exercise on the program?

Exercise is recommended to help you lose the pounds and reach your goal weight. Not only will it aid your weight loss, but it will also give you more energy and make you feel happier.

FIT Laser Lipo

What is FIT Laser Lipo?

FIT Laser Lipo’s low-level laser stimulates the fat cell to emulsify the fat within the cell. The liquefied fat moves from the inside to the outside of the cell, through a temporary pore formed in the cell membrane, where it will be absorbed by the natural lymphatic system. This results in the shrinkage of fat cells and inches off the waist, hips and thighs.

How long will the laser lipo take?

The process will take between 40 to 80 minutes. There is no downtime, pain, swelling or discomfort following the treatment.

What happens if I cannot make an appointment?

It is recommended that you attend all appointments otherwise the results will not be as significant. From your point of view, it is important that you are committed to the program which involves a series of at least six treatments to produce maximum results.

Is laser lipo different from liposuction?

Liposuction is an invasive procedure that removes the entire area of fat cells from deposits beneath the skin using a hollow stainless steel tube with the assistance of a powerful vacuum. Liposuction can be accomplished either with the use of general anesthesia, with IV sedation, or totally by local anesthesia. In contrast, the FIT Laser Lipo or cold laser lipo treatment is a 100% non-invasive treatment that uses a low level laser applied externally to stimulate the fat cell and emulsify and release fat. There is no use of anesthesia, or any pain, gels, creams, numbing agents or needles.

What areas of the body can I use the FIT Laser Lipo on?

The FIT Laser Lipo treatment is particularly effective on the waist area as well as on hips and thighs where localized fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise exist.

Are there any side effects?

There are no side effects with laser lipo. The treatment process is completely non-invasive and there are absolutely no side effects beyond loss of inches and fat.

How long will it last?

You can expect long-term results alongside a healthy diet and consistent exercise program. FIT Laser Lipo is recommended for those already following a healthy diet and lifestyle, and want to remove localized pockets of fat and reduce body fat OR for those who want to use the FIT Laser Lipo to “jump start” their slimming efforts.

BOTOX

How does it work?

BOTOX targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet, the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. BOTOX temporarily reduces this muscle activity so you’ll begin to notice a visible smoothing of these lines. For temporary improvement of moderate to severe crow’s feet, your doctor will inject BOTOX into the muscle surrounding the sides of your eyes. To improve moderate to severe frown lines, BOTOX will be injected into the corrugator muscle and the procerus muscle.

Does BOTOX hurt?

Some patients report that a BOTOX injection feels like a pinch. Your provider may use ice to numb the treatment area. If you are concerned about discomfort, a topical numbing cream may be applied before the BOTOX treatment.

How long does a BOTOX treatment take?

The treatment takes approximately 10 minutes and requires minimal downtime or recovery. It’s often called a lunchtime procedure due to the amount of time required.

What are some of the common side effects seen in clinical studies?

3% of patients experienced eyelid drooping in the frown lines studies and 1% of patients experienced eyelid swelling in the crow’s feet studies. Other possible side effects include discomfort or pain at the injection site, headaches and eye problemsn such as double vision, blurred vision, drooping eyelids, and swelling of your eyelids.

Will I look overdone?

BOTOX is a technique sensitive treatment. You should not lose the ability to show expression when you are treated by someone who is licensed and trained. It is important to talk to your provider about the results you want from the treatment so you achieve the desired look.

Hormone Replacement Therapy

Is Bio-Identical Hormone Replace Therapy safe?

Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) has actually been used in the United States since 1938. Bio-identical Hormones is a plant-based product made from yams and soy. These hormones have the same molecular structure as those produced in our own bodies. There are numerous studies worldwide that document the benefits and safety of BHRT. These studies also report a lower incidence of side effects when compared with prescription drugs.

How are BHRT pellets inserted into your body?

BHRT is a short, simple in-office procedure using local anesthesia. Your doctor will insert the pellets into the fatty layer just beneath your skin. In men and women, a small incision is made in the buttocks or in the lower abdomen. The process is painless and takes just a few minutes.

Will I experience any side effects through the use of BHRT?

One of the greatest advantages of pellet therapy is the low incidence of side effects. Although extremely rare, side effects may include slight bruising, minor bleeding, infection, or extrusion of the pellets.

How soon will I notice an improvement in my mood?

Your doctor will interpret the blood tests and determine an appropriate dosage specifically designed for you. Women who receive estrogen can feel significantly better in 24-36 hours. Men and women who receive testosterone will start to feel relief from symptoms in 10-14 days. After pellet insertion, you should avoid vigorous exercise for a few days as directed by your physician. Your doctor will evaluate hormone levels on an ongoing basis to ensure they remain within the targeted range.
