- Running in the rain helps you stay cool. Sometimes the best time to run is when it's raining! But please remember - wear shoes with good traction to stay on your feet.
- Aerobic exercise will warm you up quickly. You may feel cold when you first get out there - but once your blood gets pumping, you'll warm up quickly! Consider this when it feels too cold to exercise outside.
- Wear appropriate gear. Be prepared for whatever weather you encounter - it will help you stay safe and work out for longer periods of time.
- Stay hydrated, no matter what. Cooler temps may make you think you won't need to stay hydrated. This is false! Be sure to drink plenty of water during your workout.
- Know how to get a workout inside. If the weather is too extreme to get outside - have an indoor workout plan. There are plenty of ways to stay in shape inside!
