- Have the right types of snacks. Younger kids love snacks - they just do. There's no way around it. Be sure to have healthy snacks around the house for when the cravings hit.
- Plan meals in advance. It's hard to eat healthy when you are scrambling! Plan out your meals in advance and make sure the fridge is packed with the right ingredients.
- Make meals easy. A recipe with a long list of ingredients and lots of steps can be daunting and is sometimes avoided altogether. Save these recipes for the weekend when you have more time.
- Feed the whole family with one meal. Try to avoid making different meals for different people. Encourage the entire family to share one meal together!
