It’s Not Too Late To Make Your Resolutions!

Do you feel like its too late to make some resolutions now that New Years Day has come and gone? That's not true at all! Don't let the date on the calendar determine when you are going to set your goals. Here are some reasons why waiting a bit may bring you better results. You still have time to make 2020 the best year of your life!

Start the new year off on the right foot.   1. Resolve to make up for a slow start. Just because you started slowly in January, it doesn't mean you can't have a great kick-off to February.  January 1st is just a date - remember that. Whenever you do start your resolutions, start strong.

  2. Set some goals for the spring.  The winter can be really, really hard to get excited about.  It's not a lot of fun to be stuck inside all day. Get a head start on the spring months by setting goals that will get you outside and enjoying warmer weather. 

  3. You still have time to look great for the summer months.  Many of our weight loss goals are all about looking great in a bathing suit. A slow start in the winter still gives you plenty of time to get in shape for the summer months. Set specific goals and work with a weight loss coach to get you where you want to be by the summer.

  4. It’s easier to be more positive when winter is over.  Many people suffer from seasonal depression.  When you feel this way, its hard to accomplish anything.  Because of this, don't be to hard on yourself. If you suffer from seasonal depression - see what you can do about getting some help. Don't let resolutions stress you out.

  5. A slow start can mean a steady future. Have you ever heard the story about the tortoise and the hare? I'm sure you have. Attacking your resolutions too fast could cause you to crash and burn. Slow and steady should win this race.
