- A "burn box". This can be done literally, or just as an exercise in your mind. take note of all of the bad things that happened in the past year - the things that you don't want to have hanging over you anymore. Put them all in a box, and (SAFELY!) light the box on fire. This is a symbolic gesture of leaving the past behind.
- Take notes on what you've learned. While it's a good idea to let go of all of the bad energy from 2020, be sure to take some time to learn from your mistakes. Take time to write down how you want to adapt your lifestyle for 2021.
- Set goals for the new year. Don't throw away the bad of 2020 without being fully prepared to take 2021 by storm. Make a list of resolutions and put them somewhere that you can see every day. These should cover your physical health, mental health, and more.
