Elevators, escalators, and even moving walkways are generally tempting, especially after a lot of walking in an airport or through a shopping mall. Avoid these! Choose to take the stairs instead.

Taking stairs burns more calories per minute as compared to jogging. The activity adds the additional exercise of literally combating against gravity, creating more effort and more work for your body. Climbing the stairs is not only a good aerobic exercise, but it builds muscle in your legs as well. Taking the stairs brings you more rewards than you get from other day-to-day exercises, with no additional costs for equipment!
