Ways to Connect with Loved Ones While Social Distancing

Has social distancing made you feel lonely and bad about yourself? It really has negatively affected the mental health of many. Lucky for you, there are ways to still connect with the people you love, even while social distancing. Here are a few ideas to start!

  • Video calls. Many of us have "Zoom fatigue" at this point - we've all been there. Even so, it's hard to beat "face to face" communication, even if it's virtual.
  • Outdoor Exercise. Meet up with a friend at a public, outdoor spot and go for a walk or a hike! As long as you are following standard social distancing measures, it's a safe, healthy way to get together.
  • Hand-Written Letters. There is something very personal about putting pen to paper. It shows an appreciation that is hard to get across in any other way. 
  • Virtual Wellness Clubs. Find an online group of friends to create a virtual wellness club. Share your experiences and work as a team to accomplish goals!
