  1. Get a calendar. It's easier to organize your life if you have things scheduled. Having a physical or digital calendar helps you visualize your daily and monthly routines, and where everything fits.

  2. Get enough sleep. Spending extra time in bed may seem like it will give you less time to get organized, but it's just the opposite. A well-rested person is able to be more efficient with their time and get the most out of their day.

  3. Avoid procrastination. Sometimes, we respond to mental stress by pushing off things that we need to accomplish. This may make things easier at the moment, but it makes it harder in the long run.

  4. Ask for help. It can be hard to do everything alone, and even harder to ask for help. If you can't do it alone, lean on a loved one or family member for help. Chances are, they already know you need help and have been waiting for you to ask for it.
