Focusing only on the numbers on the scale. There are many reasons that you may not see numerical results immediately. As fat turns into muscle, your body may be changing while your weight remains the same.

Only counting calories. There are many different things to consider. Carbohydrates and sugars can have a much more devastating effect than calories. Consider them all.

Ignoring strength training. Cardio and diet alone will not get you to where you want to be. Make sure that you are considering ways to build muscle, along with cutting fat.

Drinking sugars. The liquid calories that you intake are wasteful. Drinking water, teas, and other sugar-free beverages will help you spend your calories in other places, where they are more effective.

Expecting results right away. It may be harder for some people than others to get the body they want. Many times, there are factors out of your control preventing quick weight loss. Keep working hard and meet with a weight loss coach.
